All matters related to Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act (PCMLFTA) and its regulations related to the gambling industry.

Amendments to the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act in Bill C-2, the Strong Borders Act. Canadian Payments Act and the ongoing consultations of the Payment System in Canada. The participation of new kinds of emerging payment technology companies and payment focused companies in the consultation process. Retail Payments Oversight Framework and the development of draft legislation. ETA is focused on an open and flexible system which has objective risk based rules.

Engage with public officials to inform them of the policies and practices of GoFundMe as they relate to medical, memorial, and emergency issues (including disaster relief) in Canada. To respond to any potential amendments to Canada’s Prepaid Payment Products Regulations, Canada's Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing Regime and its Regulations, and to inform the development of regulations required to support the implementation of the Retail Payments Oversight Framework and the development of Canada’s Open Banking system. To advance policy and regulatory considerations related to Canada’s prepaid payment card market with respect to Financial Literacy, Consumer Protection, Open Banking and the Retail Payments Oversight Framework, and security and anti-money laundering, Legislation related to the prepaid payments industry in Canada, including the Canadian Payments Act, and upcoming legislation to enable the Retail Payments Oversight Framework and the development of Canada’s Open Banking system
