To advance policy and regulatory considerations related to Canada’s prepaid payment card market with respect to Financial Literacy, Consumer Protection, Open Banking and the Retail Payments Oversight Framework, and security and anti-money laundering. To respond to any potential amendments to Canada’s Prepaid Payment Products Regulations, Canada's Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing Regime and its Regulations, and to inform the development of regulations required to support the implementation of the Retail Payments Oversight Framework and the development of Canada’s Open Banking system. To advance policy and regulatory considerations related to prepaid as a method of disbursement of government funding to citizens. Legislation related to the prepaid payments industry in Canada, including the Canadian Payments Act, and upcoming legislation to enable the Retail Payments Oversight Framework and the development of Canada’s Open Banking system
