Increase funds for diabetes in the Federal Budget specifically to increase funds directed to the Framework for Diabetes in Canada its components and a strategy to reflect growth in diabetes prevalence and cost. Increase Federal funding for Diabetes Research - work directed towards increasing funding to federal granting councils, in particular CIHR through the Federal Budget. Engaging government officials on implementation of Bill C-64 - An Act Respecting Pharmacare Aboriginal Diabetes Initiative - work towards making funding for this Initiative permanent. Changes to Excise Tax Act, relating to ridesharing.
