We will support the client in identifying Federal industrial, economic, or research incentives which would encourage the client’s manufacturing, engineering, and research and development activities with a view to assisting the client to play a larger role in defence related matters that support Canada's Armed Forces as well as Canada's defence industrial strategy. We will advocate to secure more procurement opportunities or contracts for the Client's products and services to the Canadian Government within the MSP (or other such procurement programs).

Supporting IMT in its mission to serve Canada's defence via its membership in the Munitions Supply Program (MSP) through timely engagement with government on procurement for munitions and other industrial manufacturing products to meet the needs of Canada and its allies, as well as through pursuing the required financial contributions to enable required MSP contracts.

Strategic Response Fund (SRF) - proposal to support the development of an ecosystem in Canada by providing an environment for the pursuit of collaborative projects. Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) Policy – AIAC advocates to the government for a policy framework and eligibility rules that ensure high quality industrial benefits are placed into Canada by the primes. Discussing regional development in the province of British Columbia. Discussing the aerospace industry perspective on international trade negotiations and agreements to ensure their effectiveness. Discussing Canadian export controls and trade measures, including the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement, to provide the industry’s perspective and ensure their effectiveness. Discussing how Transport Canada can improve its resources and governance structure for civil aviation, including improvements to certification processes and alignment with bilateral partners. Communications regarding the implementation of the Defence Industrial Strategy, including related policies, programs, regulations and legislation which support production capacity of the aerospace industry in Canada, increase supports for export opportunities and development of international markets. Ensuring the Defence Industrial Strategy implementation, including related policies, programs, regulations and legislation supports the growth of the aerospace industry in Canada. Advocate on current or future environmental, legislation, policy or regulations of potential impact. The Aeronautics Act and Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) - AIAC advocates for internationally harmonized implementation of regulations to get the highest practical level of safety and to keep Canadian industry economically competitive. Taxation Policy – AIAC advocates for a taxation policy regime that strengthens Canada as a place for new aerospace investment and for growing existing aerospace businesses. e.g. lowering of corporate taxation rates, allowing for greater and accelerated write-up of the purchase of new capital and equipment. Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SRED) Tax Credit – this program administered by Revenue Canada provides a tax credit to companies in proportion to their investments in Research & Development. AIAC advocates for eligibility rules and terms and conditions that meet the needs of Canadian aerospace companies regardless of their public or private ownership. Safety Management System (SMS) - The development of an internationally-recognized SMS Standard consistent with Annex 19. Obtain support from relevant government departments in dealing with the European Union Emissions Trading Scheme to ensure fairness to Canadian companies. Export Financing – Export Development Canada provides financing assistance to foreign buyers of Canadian products and systems. AIAC advocates for adequate financing support of aerospace exports and that the program's terms and conditions are aligned to market circumstances as well as keeping Canada's industry competitive internationally. Taxation and Finance: Canada must ensure, fairness, accountability and transparency regarding CRA decisions that impact Jewish charities. Provide economic support for the charitable and not-for-profit sector through a direct granting program. National Security/Security (2): Continued support for revocation of citizenship in cases involving war crimes, crimes against humanity, terrorism, and extreme promotion of hate; strengthened screening to bar entry and deny citizenship to individuals who pose security threats or have ties to extremist or terrorist organizations; removal of individuals already in Canada who obtained status through false representation; establishment of a fast-track removal stream for high-risk individuals linked to foreign extremist organizations; accelerated removals for individuals convicted of violent crimes; and standalone immigration consequences for expressing support for listed terrorist entities, even in the absence of criminal convictions. National Security (1): Canada Community Security Program (CCSP): Sustained and recurrent funding and program optimization; support for life-saving protective measures for communities at risk, particularly the Jewish community; funding for capital security upgrades and training; and ongoing support for security guards and paid duty officers. Justice and Law Enforcement (2): Conflict of Interests, Foreign Interference, Ethics, Lobbying, Canada Revenue Agency. Ensuring CIJA fully respects all its legal and regulatory obligations while advocating for the current framework to be more efficient and respectful of the needs, objectives and resources of cultural and religious communities. Justice and Law Enforcement: Canada should pursue a comprehensive, accountable approach to combating hate and promoting inclusion by strengthening legal tools, enforcement capacity, and public institutions. This includes modernizing human rights and criminal frameworks to address hate speech and antisemitism, guided by the IHRA definition; investing in anti-racism, tolerance, and genocide education initiatives; and ensuring police are properly resourced to prevent and respond to hate crimes, with clear accountability for results. Bail reform to include a reverse onus on hate related offences. International Trade: Advancing and expanding bilateral trade through the promotion, application, and potential enhancement of the Canada–Israel Free Trade Agreement, as well as fostering increased investment and academic exchanges.
