Increase Federal funding for Diabetes Research - work directed towards increasing funding to federal granting councils, in particular CIHR through the Federal Budget. Engaging government officials on implementation of Bill C-64 - An Act Respecting Pharmacare Aboriginal Diabetes Initiative - work towards making funding for this Initiative permanent. (Previous work directed towards continuation of funding beyond 2010).

Engage government officials about the government of Canada's decarbonization policies, including the Healthy Environment & Healthy Economy plan, and clean electricity regulations.

Electricity - To work with the government regarding the country's electricity sector, goals for continued leadership in clean energy policies, and support for partnerships between First Nations and industry.
