Les sommes pourraient servir à payer des salaires pour réaliser le projet. Les programmes visés, la forme du soutien financier et les montants sont inconnus à ce jour. Participation à une table de concertation sectorielle d'Environnement et Changement climatique Canada au sujet du nouveau cadre réglementaire entourant les émissions de gaz à effet de serre à être introduit. Les représentations visent, aux fins de l’adoption des nouveaux règlements, l’adoption de critères spécifiques au secteur de l’aluminium pour les niveaux d’émissions et les activités visées. Les représentations visent également les mécanismes d’application et de suivi de la conformité pour ces règlements. Participation à une table de concertation sectorielle d'Environnement et Changement climatique Canada au sujet de l’adoption de nouvelles normes nationales de qualité de l’air ambiant à être introduites. Les représentations visent à ce que ces nouvelles normes tiennent compte des particularités du secteur de l’aluminium, incluant notamment celles ayant trait aux émissions de dioxyde de soufre. Participation à un comité de travail créé par Environnement et Changement climatique Canada concernant le nouveau système de gestion de la qualité de l'air à être introduit. Les représentations visent, aux fins des nouvelles ententes de performance environnementales, l'élaboration de normes quantitatives et qualitatives propres au secteur de l'aluminium, ainsi que l'élaboration d'un code de bonnes pratiques pour les particules fines qui tient comptes des particularités du secteur de l'aluminium.

To seek repeal or amendment of the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act to eliminate the Output-Based Pricing System (industrial carbon tax) as it applies to oil and gas facilities, reducing costs, enhancing competitiveness, and supporting energy sector development. To seek repeal or amendment of the Oil Tanker Moratorium Act to remove the prohibition on vessels carrying >12,500 metric tons of crude or persistent oil in bulk along British Columbia’s northern coast, enabling safe oil-tanker traffic for energy export and economic development while upholding marine safety standards. To bring awareness of drilling and service rig contractors operating in Canada and advocating for support of the industry including interprovincial trade cooperation and better workforce mobility. We are requesting for the ongoing extension of the China Surtax Remission Order imposed on the drill pipe from China. We are requesting relevant industry training be included as part of the compliance conditions for the exemption renewal under the Commercial Vehicle Drivers Hours of Service Regulation. To amend the Income Tax Act to provide helium and natural hydrogen with fair capital cost treatment and allow their inclusion into the Federal flow through share program, normal tax measures that are provided to all other critical mineral resource developers in Canada.
