Provide input and participate in discussions regarding the implementation of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and its action plan. Discussions surrounding consultations regarding the Crown’s duty to consult and issues related to the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP).

Discussions on updates to Owens Corning’s network in Canada. Discussions with officials regarding the Canada-US bilateral relationship and possible tariffs.

World Trade Organization (WTO) negotiations with respect to cheese customs tariffs, Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ), treaty implementation legislation, regulations, and policies International Trade negotiations policy regarding dairy products Global Affairs Canada Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) Notices to Importers, allocation policies, and consultations with stakeholders Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) with respect to Cheese Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) treaty implementation legislation, regulations, and policies Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) with respect to Cheese customs tariffs, Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ), treaty implementation legislation, regulations, and policies Canada and European Union (EU) Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) with respect to Cheese Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) treaty implementation legislation, regulations, and policies

Monitor international free trade agreements discussions as it pertains to international dairy trade issues. Government policies, practices, requirements and obligations respecting quotas (and supplemental import authorizations) for supply-managed goods.

Trade policy as it relates to the import and export of spirits. Tax policy on alcohol related to the enabling environment and competitiveness of spirits (addressing the impact of the escalator excise tax on the alcohol industry). Interprovincial trade barriers related to spirits business. Environmental policy as it relates to the alcohol industry. Engaging with Health Canada, Public Health Agency of Canada and Foreign Affairs on the WHO's (World Health Organization) Global Alcohol Strategy and actions undertaken by the industry in Canada to reduce harmful drinking.
