Request that the emission regulation for medium and heavy duty vehicle ("MHDV") in Canada and in the U.S. be harmonized, and more specifically that ECCC align with EPA regulations and accept NHTSA certification. Promote low or zero emission medium and heavy duty vehicle (MHDV) manufactured by its different brands, Volvo Truck, Mack Truck, Penta, Construction Equipment and Prevost, the deployment of charging infrastructure and the need for incentive for MHDV. Monitor and provide feedbacks on regulations related to zero-emission MHDV. Maintain the USMCA as is.
