We are providing input and feedback to any questions people have on the sector, how it impacts Canadians, and what we are doing as Shakepay to ensure that customer protection is at the forefront. Discussing details pertaining to Canada's open banking framework that will be established under the Consumer-Driven Banking Act (CDB Act), which is part of the Budget Implementation Act, 2024, No. 1 (Bill C-69). Engaging on the draft legislation, introduced by the federal government in April 2024, and discussing issues like accreditation, scope and other items. To engage federal financial sector regulators with respect to the supervision of crypto assets under Canada’s anti-money laundering and terrorist financing regulations.
