Monitor developments and amendments to the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Regulations. Monitor development of the Retail Payments Oversight Framework and regulations as part of the implementation of the Retail Payments Activities Act (RPAA) Discuss policy options and industry evolution with respect to Open Banking. To advocate for the development of a national strategy to support the growth of Canada’s Web3 economy and digital assets. To engage federal financial sector regulators with respect to the supervision of crypto assets under Canada’s anti-money laundering and terrorist financing regulations. To engage government and federal regulators on the development and implementation of Canada’s consumer-driven banking framework, including the core framework elements.
