Support for hydrogen research and development capabilities in Canada through the Strategic Innovation Fund I will be pursuing various department and agencies to adopt hydrogen and CCS incentives and financial supports including the Strategic Innovation Fund, Clean Hydrogen Investment Tax Credit, Contracts for Difference, and carbon credits under the Clean Fuel Regulations. On behalf of the client, I will be advocating to various departments and agencies with respect to legislation and regulations that impact the development of clean hydrogen production and carbon capture and storage (CCS) with a focus on Bill C-59 (e.g. CCUS-ITC), Clean Hydrogen Investment Tax Credit and the Clean Fuel Regulations.

Communications about the federal investment tax credits under the Income Tax Act for carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) projects and initiatives (CCUS ITC). Advocate for competitive policies and programs that incentivize carbon dioxide removal (CDR) in general, and direct air capture (DAC) specifically in Canada. Communicate with government officials about funding for Carbon Dioxide Removal technologies (CDR) and in particular Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology through existing and emerging funding programs and mechanisms, including through CCUS (carbon capture utilization and storage) programs and initiatives.

Addressing Transport Canada certification standards for aerial firefighting assets operating in Canada. Engaging with the Government of Canada to build capacity for Canada's aerial wildfire fighting capacity and capabilities.

Research and identify funding opportunities related to critical minerals development Building government interest and support for an integrated critical minerals manufacturing facility

To explore government funding support for low-carbon innovation at company production facilities

Domestic regulatory policies specific to ocean alkalinity enhancement as well as issues around London Convention and London protocol. Government procurement of carbon credits

To explore funding opportunities to support the advancement of quantum technologies from the laboratory to commercial ready prototypes and commercialization as the basis for exciting new products and businesses in Canada.

Assist in securing and managing defence and coast guard contracts under the National Shipbuilding Strategy (NSS) and other procurement opportunities.
