Safety Code 6 - Presentations on the regulatory updates on broadcasters transmission sites, especially for AM Radio Proposed national framework on advertising for sports betting. Providing perspective on the broadcasting sector's current approach to sports betting advertising. Online Streaming Act - Implementation of the legislation to include foreign streaming services in Canada's regulated broadcasting sector. CRTC Radio Regulations - Discussions on process of renewing the regulatory regime for radio broadcasters.

Innovation policy and programming related to Mitacs domestic and international activity, including the Mitacs Globalink program and efforts to attract top talent and researchers to Canada. Funding to support ongoing growth in work-integrated learning collaborations between industry and academia in relation to Mitacs programs. Funding and policy development to support industry-academic research and development partnerships, commercialization, job creation, training and professional skills development for post-secondary students and post-doctoral fellows, international research collaborations and the promotion of activities that support innovation in Canada.

Advocacy for enhanced support mechanisms and faster enforcement for Canadian cultural organizations in regards to intellectual property (IP) protections. Financial support for Canada’s cultural sector — including Canadian recording artists, labels, songwriters, managers, publishers, and event producers. Advocacy to ensure stronger provisions around financial fraud, and institutional accountability.

Discuss proposals to improve Canada’s housing supply, including increased purpose-built multi-family rental housing, so that it is more affordable, accessible and energy efficient for Canadians. Explore trade and export opportunities for ag manufacturing sector. Promote innovation opportunities in the ag manufacturing sector. Promote the need for expanded workforce development programs to promote skilled trades opportunities and highlight agricultural manufacturing. Make changes to the Copyright Act as it relates to interoperability.

Engaging with the Government of Canada to continue to advance international assistance programs and policies that advance global health and rights of women, adolescents and children.
