Support increased funding to the National Trade Corridors Fund and encourage the federal government to prioritize infrastructure particularly related to energy diversification and/or projects that benefit Indigenous communities. Raising awareness of Trigon's role in the West Coast economy, its contribution to Canada’s export goals and its importance as a source of employment and economic strength in the regional community, including with its Indigenous partners. Engagement with the government on encouraging Canadian green energy production and export such as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and hydrogen as ammonia, and working to overcome barriers to market entry for Canada.

Arranging meetings with Public Office Holders to discuss Newfoundland and Labrador’s energy sector, natural resources, sustainable jobs, and economic development in the province, including eligibility of oil and gas companies for an investment tax credit, similar to the Atlantic Investment Tax Credit.

Efforts will focus on transportation and infrastructure and trade, as it pertains to enhancing trade with overseas markets. Raising awareness of difficulties or opportunities Canada faces related to international trade of potash, specific to transportation, supply chain and labour.

Promoting Canadian technology to work with the federal government to replace the need for foreign satellite technology and spectrum allocation, while advancing national sovereignty and domestic infrastructure, Arctic security, a renewed commitment to rural and northern connectivity and ultimately advancing and investing in satellite technology and made-in-Canada innovations.
