Replenish will be advocating for stronger public support for soil health in Canada's agricultural sector. We plan to work with federal officials to widen recognition of the these issues, and to strengthen Canada's competitiveness on soil health as trading partners increasingly demonstrate concern on the topic. In particular, Replenish hopes to inform the creation and execution of the next agricultural policy framework. Replenish wishes to provide expert advice and feedback on Senate Bill S-230 (National Strategy for Soil Health Act), to advocate for its adoption, and to inform the creation of the strategy should the Bill be enacted.

Conversations relating to investments in community infrastructure under the Build Communities Strong Fund Direct Delivery Stream

Carbon Offset Markets Capstone will engage the Government of Canada on policies governing carbon markets, offset credit integrity, and federal-provincial alignment to ensure stable, transparent, and investable frameworks for renewable and low-carbon energy projects.

Wildlife Conservation: Advance a national program of predator management to enhance duck production across Canada with the longer-term objective of the durable and sustainable delivery capability for predator management at larger operational scales. Wetland Conservation: Advance a new working lands approach to conserving small at-risk wetlands ( type I and II, ephemeral and temporary wetlands) via a dedicated conservation trust/endowment established by the Alberta government.

Communicate with government officials to gain greater input on diversion, rehabilitation, and integration programs for members of the Metis community involved in the justice system. Communicate with government officials to secure additional funding to build new and refurbish existing housing and community infrastructure for members of the Métis community.
