This would include a one-time endowment (grant) to the National Trust of Canada. Historic Places legislation - a Historic Places Act bill died on the order paper in the last parliament. We would like to see this legislation reintroduced with some changes. The purpose of the act is to protect historic places in federal jurisdiction.
