In FY24-25, CELA received its federal funding though the newly launched EARP (Equitable Access to Reading Program), which is a 3 year program through until March 2027. Before that, CELA received federal funding through the SDPP-D program (The Social Development Partnerships Program (Disability)). ESDC administers both the EARP and the SDPP-D; this will be the primary target of lobbying. CELA will be lobbying for stable and ongoing funding for this essential work to help people with print disabilities in Canada.
