• Trade policy as it relates to the import and export of spirits. • Tax policy on alcohol related to the enabling environment and competitiveness of spirits (addressing the impact of the escalator excise tax on the alcohol industry). • Interprovincial trade barriers related to spirits business. • Environmental policy as it relates to the alcohol industry. • Engaging with Health Canada, Public Health Agency of Canada and Foreign Affairs on WHO’s Global Alcohol Strategy and actions undertaken by the industry in Canada to reduce harmful drinking.

Arranging meetings to discuss Canadian legislative and policy matters in the digital age including the regulation of online content; data protection and privacy, copyright and taxation, fostering technological innovation and growth and Canada approach to advancing the digital economy and digital transformation Advising on and arranging meetings around consultations concerning Bill C-11 (the Broadcasting Act), as well as possible copyright, competition, and environmental legislation. Arranging meetings to address policies pertaining to the diversity of content in the digital age

Work with government to promote and support Canada’s digital economy, including ensuring the availability of a high-skilled tech workforce. Work with government to ease the process of selling goods and services online, and delivering them to consumers.
