Landscape Ontario has been operating the Smart About Salt environmental education program since 2007, but has recently developed a more advanced curriculum of training that incorporates Smart About Salt, continuing education and a means to accredit training providers. The goal is to create a more reasonable and fair snow management procurement process that has safety and protection of the environment as a focus.
