Seeking funding to support the international program that supports audit institutions and Public Accounts Committees in development and use of performance audit reports. While some of this work is funded by Global Affairs Canada, there are other demands for this work which is not funded. Seeking funding to support the audit and accountability program that supports public sector auditing to support government transparency and good governance. This work is not sufficiently funded, and requires on-going investment in time and research to provide the required level of support. Seeking funding to support research in the area of accountability, audit and oversight. This work is not funded. The need for this work is great, land requires funding to build capacity, share knowledge and collaborate on areas of mutual interest. Seeking funding to support the oversight program that supports Public Accounts Committees in their use of performance audit reports. This work is not funded, and requires on-going investment in time and research to provide the required level of support. Requesting the CAAF be considered as part of the budget process; seeking existing programs that could fund the CAAF. Potential organizations with budgets or programs could be Finance or the Treasury Board Secretariat.
