Working with the Gwa’sala-‘Nakwaxda’xw to seek support from the Government of Canada for the acquisition of timber leases in their traditional territory and associated infrastructure. Working w/ the Gwa’sala-‘Nakwaxda’xw to address housing and infrastructure concerns in their home community. Working in support of the Gwa’sala-‘Nakwaxda’xw Nation (GNN) in helping them reach their Reconciliation and Treaty goals. Salmon Aquaculture: supporting KEDC in convincing DFO and the Government of Canada at large to allow Indigenous people to continue responsibly farming salmon on the Pacific coast.

Discussing the community's projects with an objective of determining best practices to reach full capacity for community-led large-scale projects. This has included asking for direction on potential funding opportunities that are available.

Working with the Gwa’sala-‘Nakwaxda’xw to address and gain access to funding for housing and infrastructure concerns in their home community through Housing, Infrastructure and Communities Canada, as well as other related government entities. Working in support of the Gwa’sala-‘Nakwaxda’xw Nation (GNN) in helping them reach their Reconciliation and Treaty goals. To advance fisheries issues in the treaty negotiations with K'omoks First Nation, Kitselas Indian Band and Ktsumkalum Indian Band. Furthermore, to educate the federal government on the fisheries positions of these same Nations.
