Arranging meetings with the Government to receive updates about outstanding legal files involving the Crown, support for the extension of the Head Lease term on designated lands and the G7 legacy fund Securing timely support for the extension of a lease term on designated lands in order to incentivize First Nations led housing initiatives. Addressing outstanding legal files involving the Crown, including the case of Ear v the King. Assisting the Goodstoney Nation in discussions with the Government of Canada concerning the 5% Indigenous participation requirement in federal procurement is a key part of our mandate.
