Movember advocates for federal policies and investments that improve men’s health outcomes across Canada. It lobbies for the creation and funding of a National Men’s Health Strategy, focusing on mental health, suicide prevention, and early detection of conditions that disproportionately affect men. Movember’s efforts include advancing Indigenous-led health initiatives, addressing systemic health inequities, and improving men’s health literacy. Movember strives to support systems supporting healthier outcomes for men and boys, in healthcare spaces, online and digital spaces, in workplaces and in communities.

To identify government funding opportunities that are available for charitable organizations that have a mandate to encourage Canadians to undertake their own preventative and proactive healthcare measures. The Canadian Men's Health Foundation (CMHF) aims to seek funding and support for its program so that skilled labourers across Canada can access CMHF offered services. To develop and educate government officials and members on the importance of a National Men's Health Strategy. Ensuring the workforce across Canada and throughout major industry projects is supported. To educate elected officials about how non-government organizations can be used to encourage the public to undertake greater preventative and proactive care, which will result in the easing of pressure on the healthcare system.

Dying With Dignity Canada seeks to influence the Government of Canada to allow for advance requests for medical assistance in dying (MAID) for people who have a diagnosis of a grievous and irremediable medical condition.

Support the inclusion of human rights objectives by Canada in international fora Promoting the importance of the full range of sexual and reproductive health and rights in development assistance programming, in line with a human rights framework and best practices. Communications regarding the need for $20 million over 5 years through programs like Age Well at Home, and a longer-term and larger commitment to programs like ASC's FirstLink® that have been proven to support people with dementia to live well as long as possible at home and in the community. Communications regarding the need to invest $15 million over 3 years to implement national standards for diagnosis, treatment and care for Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. This will ensure that the health systems across the country have access to quality standards to be able to realize the benefits of any disease modifying drugs approved in Canada.
