Global Affairs Canada - advocate for program funding to strengthen sexual and reproductive health and rights and midwifery globally. Finance Department - budget submissions to support policy and funding for midwifery and Indigenous midwifery. Public Health Agency of Canada - funding to support the role of midwives in the administration of vaccinations and to support the role of midwives in recognizing and responding to gender based violence. Indigenous Services Canada - support work of the National Council of Indigenous Midwives (NCIM) regarding policy and programming to grow and sustain Indigenous midwifery (services and education pathways). Health Canada - Ministry of Health - meetings to address policy issues affecting midwifery and access to midwifery services in Canada.
