Development of a Labour Based Live Performance Tax Credit;

Discussions with officials with regards to advancing youth homelessness prevention projects with the Government of Canada through funding programs such as Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS). Working with all orders of government, communities, services providers and philanthropy to create a policy, investment and service environment that enables a shift away from simply “managing” the problem of youth homelessness through emergency services to a more proactive, rights-based approach that focuses on prevention and helping those who are homeless move into housing with supports as rapidly as possible in a safe and planned way.

Working to ensure the interests and perspectives of health care providers and housing organizations are being represented with decision makers as it relates to supportive housing, addictions and mental health.

Policies related to supply chain reliability, including trade-enabling infrastructure and rail transportation. International trade matters, including international trade agreement negotiations, to enhance trade with overseas markets.

Advocate for the inclusion of geothermal energy systems in energy efficient housing initiatives and loan programs.

Lobbying to advocate for better, fairer and smarter change at CHMC rules for funding supportive housing projects that support both housing needs and mental health.

Engaging federal officials about priorites in the energy sector, specifically as it relates to labour requirements and union policy. Develop and implement a political lobby campaign to achieve federal funding for the priorities of JEPP (Joint Electrical Promotion Plan) and its partners IBEW CCO (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers-Construction Council of Ontario), ECAO (Electrical Contractors Association of Ontario), and NETCO (National Electrical Trade Council) Achieve NETCO (National Electrical Trade Council) success in receiving approval for its existing federal grant application Achieve IBEW-CCO (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers-Construction Council of Ontario) success in receiving a multi-million-dollar federal funding grant to upgrade one of IBEW’s (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) Ontario training centres in 2020 Achieve ECAO (Electrical Contractors Association of Ontario) success in reforming federal procurement rules to ensure that lowest cost is not the main criterion in judging Requests for Proposal

Communicating with public office holders about the implementation of the Online Streaming Act (formerly Bill C-11), including the issuance of regulatory policies thereunder by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission ("CRTC"), more specifically its impact on the film, television and animation sectors. Communicating with public office holders about policies related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, including their impact on privacy and content. Communicating with public office holders about trade between Canada and the United States of America, including with respect to the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement ("CUSMA"), more specifically as it relates to content and new media. Communicating with public office holders about cultural export policies, more specifically the global distribution of content. Communicating, in general, with public office holders about regulations and policies related to the internet and new media, including their impact on the film, television and animation sectors. Communicating, in general, with public office holders (i) about opportunities and challenges facing the film, television and animation sectors in Canada and (ii) about the company's operations and investments in Canada.

Engaging with federal departments and agencies to advance Project Vigilance, a Canadian-led proposal to replace the Kingston-class vessels through the Continental Defence Corvette (CDC) program under the National Shipbuilding Strategy, supporting Canada’s NATO defence investment commitments. Arranging meetings with public office holders and senior officials to leverage existing shipyard capacity, supply chains, and provincial investments to strengthen Canada’s defence-industrial base and accelerate capability delivery through the new Defence Investment Agency. Assist client in raising profile within government, to secure procurement contracts for ship repair
