Our efforts on behalf of Armatec involve the company's pursuit of opportunities with the Department of National Defence's support to Ukraine, the DRDC "Armour Up" program as well as the armour requirements for the Canadian Surface Combatant and other international opportunities working with and through the Trade and Export Controls Branch of Global Affairs.

Identifying opportunities to encourage Canadians to donate regularly to charities, including enhancements to the federal charitable donation tax credit. Support for long-term increases to Canada's international assistance. Prioritization of children and child protection in Canada's assistance through supply chain transparency. Obtain high level government support for stabilization, protection of civilians and aid effectiveness in complex humanitarian emergencies. Obtain contributions from Global Affairs Canada for the delivery of development and humanitarian assistance programs. Legislative change in sanctions regime and criminal code to allow humanitarian funding Ensuring Canada's official development assistance includes support, increased funding and global leadership for children's education. Ensuring Canada's official development assistance includes increased resources for and global leadership in regards to reproductive, maternal, neonatal, child and adolescent health (RMNCAH) especially for the most vulnerable women & children.

We are supporting the client for various procurement programs related to defence and security including the Canadian Surface Combatant Program, Arctic Over the Horizon Radar, Stinger and Javelin missiles as well as various other types of Air to Air and Air to Ground missiles.

To engage and advocate for the economic and social benefits of mining to the Canadian economy, including Indigenous economic reconciliation, with investment-friendly policies regarding regulatory system, support for decarbonization, skills training and critical mineral development. To raise awareness with government officials with respect to the Company's development plans for new mining projects in Nunavut, including employment and training, opportunities and benefits for Inuit people and communities, the Company's consultation and environmental management programs, and additional environmental sustainability opportunities in line with government and Inuit priorities and policies. To raise awareness with government officials with respect to the Company's development plans for mining projects in Ontario and Quebec, including employment and training, opportunities and benefits for Indigenous peoples and local communities, and the Company’s consultation and environmental management programs. To raise awareness with government officials and departments on the need for major infrastructure investment in the Arctic, including high speed internet infrastructure in Nunavut to support industry and community needs and enhance opportunities and economic linkages. To engage and raise awareness with government officials and departments on the need for clean energy infrastructure development in the Kivalliq and Kitikmeot regions of Nunavut. Energy alternatives will significantly reduce the need to rely 100% on diesel generation as the only source of energy in these areas, significantly reducing GHG emissions and improving economic development opportunity for communities and industry.

The development of economic and environmental policies for the production of natural gas as well as access to export markets. Innovation policies and clean technology funding initiatives that affect the upstream petroleum industry like CCUS Investment Tax Credit. Indigenous Constitutional and Treaty Rights in relation to consultation policy pertaining to resource management. Climate change policies and regulations and associated greenhouse gas emissions policies and pricing mechanisms that affect the upstream petroleum industry.

The Bank Act as it relates to the Department of Finance's Consultation on Proposals to Strengthen Canada’s Financial Sector. Communication regarding trade related issues, including free trade agreements such as the Canada-US-Mexico Free Trade Agreement, as it relates to the auto industry. Regulation and legislation related to reporting on labour practices in the supply chain to ensure that industry has the appropriate time and information to be compliant. The Energuide labels for vehicles inclusive of label design and required information to be displayed. Communication regarding vehicle repair related issues, including the Consumer Protection Act, as it relates to the auto industry. The Canadian Environmental Protection Act as it relates to various regulations and policies regarding zero-emissions sales mandates. Communication regarding the adoption of hydrogen technologies in transportation, including hydrogen fueling infrastructure development. Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Act as it relates to various technical safety standards and ministerial authority to recall. Communication regarding transportation, vehicle electrification and reducing carbon emissions, as it relates to the government's light-duty Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) sales mandate regulation for new vehicle purchases and other related policies and programs, including ZEV charging and refueling infrastructure development.

Encourage government to bolster regulatory cooperation and alignment through streamlining and modernizing framework and reducing duplicative red tape; promoting harmonization between Canada and the United States to facilitate cross border trade. Advocate for interoperability with regards to artificial intelligence and cyber between Canada, the United States, and other allies. Advancing discussions on programs and contracts tied to the development and support of future combat vessels. Funding to prepare the facility for construction of the future River Class Destroyer fleet and to support the ongoing maintenance of vessels. Input into the Federal Government's National Shipbuilding Procurement Strategy as it relates to Irving Shipbuilding being selected on October 19, 2011 to build the Combat Vessel work package.
