The object of the lobbying will be to promote Volatus Aerospace Corp.'s established infrastructure and extensive fleet of aircraft, helicopters and remotely piloted aircraft systems to augment and enhance the real-time surveillance, monitoring and control of Canada's borders. Separate and apart from border surveillance, the lobbying will also entail the promotion of Volatus' capabilities to other federal government departments and agencies.

Communicating with government officials to promote Volatus Aerospace Corp.’s Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and drone technologies to support real-time surveillance, monitoring, and operational needs across federal departments and agencies.

To discuss and support government initiatives related to critical infrastructure resilience, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and resilient energy infrastructure modernization. Discussions regarding Immigration program considerations related to manufacturing labour shortages, including coordinating with provinces and the inclusion of manufacturing National Occupation Classifications (NOC) in federal pathways to permanent residency and regional workforce needs. Discussions regarding energy transition legislation, federal investment tax credits and regulations. To explore areas of alignment and compatibility with federal policies and programs in the context of deploying temporary and permanent modular housing, including medium density housing, workforce housing, affordable housing, and community infrastructure. Pursuing international trade and expanding markets for infrastructure development. Federal policies and programs with respect to transition to a lower carbon energy system, renewable energy, and energy infrastructure. Discussions regarding provision of buildings, camps, and logistical services. Discussions regarding federal frameworks with regards to the environment, including climate change and air pollutant regulation.

Seeking access and eligibility for Government of Canada funding programs for defence, national security, and sovereignty and resilience projects for the Arctic and Canada's North. Pursuing program / contract opportunities with Canada to deliver simulation-enabled training through digital integration and technology solutions. To advocate to the Government to approve new, fast and effective ways to build urgently needed defence related infrastructure that supports the needs of CAF, DND and Canada's broader national security, with a specific emphasis on flexible, scalable, and rapidly deployable infrastructure projects on military installations that can also include the use of public-private partnership models.

We will support the client in identifying Federal industrial, economic, or research incentives which would encourage the client’s manufacturing, engineering, and research and development activities with a view to assisting the client to play a larger role in defence related matters that support Canada's Armed Forces as well as Canada's defence industrial strategy. Identifying Federal industrial, economic, or research incentives which would encourage the client’s manufacturing, engineering, and research and development activities. The client is a manufacturer of precision parts, including defence related products, such as artillery shells and other forms of large caliber munitions. The client is a participant and supplier to Canada through the Munition Supply Program (MSP). We will advocate to secure more procurement opportunities or contracts for the Client's products and services to the Canadian Government within the MSP (or other such procurement programs).

Defence procurement, with respect to policy instruments and procurement strategy applied in the context of defence contracting. Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF) – Pratt & Whitney Canada next-generation thermal engine. SIF Stream 1 R&D and Commercialization is being sought to support engine E&D. This project aims to develop more efficient and sustainable engines to help the aerospace sector towards net zero objective. Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF) - Pratt & Whitney Canada is one of the largest investors in R&D in Canada in the Aerospace Industry, and as such qualifies for investment by the Government of Canada through SIF. P&WC is constantly working on sustainable aviation technologies and progressing its mandate to fly a hybrid-electric 40-seater aircraft demonstrator x plane within 3 years. This will help prepare the Canadian aerospace sector for a huge hybrid aircraft market expected to emerge later this decade. Revenue Canada SR&ED- Scientific Research & Experimental Development Program Pratt & Whitney Canada conducts significant R&D activities in Canada on airplane engines and production and testing. It also qualifies for reimbursement under the SR&ED program. NRC - Pratt & Whitney Canada has over twelve ongoing research activities with NRC. For example; High Altitude Engine Testing, Research in Turbo Aerodynamics National Defence- Unmanned Air Vehicles Acquisition. Canada would benefit from increased P&WC activity and R&D in the field of UAV and fixed wing aircraft in developing engines, powerplants that meet enhanced or new requirements. Foreign Affairs/International Trade Export Controls/Interpretations - Pratt & Whitney Canada, as a manufacture of aircraft engines, exports the majority of its products internationally. It is significantly affected by Export Control and ITAR regulations. On ongoing basis, the company works with Industry Associations and Government Officials on these issues. F-35 Procurement Aircraft Acquisition. The company is interested in having one of its engine types selected for the F-35 program. Export Development Canada Financing purchases for foreign sales Engine Certification - Pratt & Whitney Canada works with Transport Canada on Engine Certification through the CAR (Canadian Aviation Regulation) 511 - process around engine certification. The company also works with Transport Canada on CAR 533 -aircraft engines design, standards and requirements for approval of the type design of aeronautical product.
