Movember advocates for federal policies and investments that improve men’s health outcomes across Canada. It lobbies for the creation and funding of a National Men’s Health Strategy, focusing on mental health, suicide prevention, and early detection of conditions that disproportionately affect men. Movember’s efforts include advancing Indigenous-led health initiatives, addressing systemic health inequities, and improving men’s health literacy. Movember strives to support systems supporting healthier outcomes for men and boys, in healthcare spaces, online and digital spaces, in workplaces and in communities.

To identify government funding opportunities that are available for charitable organizations that have a mandate to encourage Canadians to undertake their own preventative and proactive healthcare measures. The Canadian Men's Health Foundation (CMHF) aims to seek funding and support for its program so that skilled labourers across Canada can access CMHF offered services. A Way Home Canada, in partnership with the Home Depot Canada Foundation, aims to advance federal policy change and increased investment in evidence-based youth homelessness prevention. Working with all orders of government, communities, services providers and philanthropy to create a policy, investment and service environment that enables a shift away from simply “managing” the problem of youth homelessness through emergency services to a more proactive, rights-based approach that focuses on prevention and helping those who are homeless move into housing with supports as rapidly as possible in a safe and planned way. Discussions with officials with regards to advancing youth homelessness prevention projects with the Government of Canada through funding programs such as Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS) and Youth Mental Health Fund.
