CAF-FCA provided a response to the Minister and the Parliamentary Secretary on the specific items announced in the Team Canada Strong program that affects apprenticeships. CAF-FCA made a submission during the pre budget consultation process and to the finance committee for the budget detailing requests for funding for CAF-FCA programs. Meeting with Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure to discuss importance of apprenticeships in any infrastructure projects and in Build Canada Homes projects. Scheduled lobby day for September 16th 2025. Lobbying for funding for CAF to be able to do its work within the apprenticeship sector. CAF needs funding to continue with research and collation of best practices from among its vast membership.
