Global Poverty Project Canada (Global Citizen)

Encouraging Global Affairs Canada to commit funding to No Child on the Sidelines, a project led by Right To Play in collaboration with Global Citizen, towards advancing the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund campaign to raise USD $100 million globally for education and sports-based learning for children. The project aims to support grassroots organizations in developing countries who are conducting play-based learning programs, through direct grants, technical assistance and shared learning opportunities. The project also seeks to share the impact with Canadians through communications and public engagement activities. Increasing Canada's International Assistance Envelope towards furthering progress on the Sustainable Development Goals Ensuring Canada's international development policies and programs are positioned to effectively meet the most urgent needs and most vulnerable persons around the world Encouraging parliamentarians to issue official statements and/or resolutions supportive of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and ending extreme poverty
