Networks of Centres of Excellence - investments in agriculture innovation now that grape and wine research qualifies for funding. Health research - research capital grants, research operating grants, and capital grants from the federal government. Economic development and social innovation - investments that facilitate partnerships and knowledge transfer between postsecondary institutions and the private, public and not-for profit sectors. Brock University would like to see research funding levels maintained or increased. Agriculture innovation - investments in agriculture innovation to support research such as state-of-the-art biomanufacturing for the development of health-centric crops for food and pharmacy and grape and wine innovation.

Advocating for the organization's mission to promote and support meaningful and equitable employment for people with disabilities and to secure sustainable funding.

Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS), with respect to advocating for improvements to increase accessibility and flexibility for youth, particularly those from underrepresented groups. Sustainable Jobs Training Fund (SJTF) with respect to advocating for changes that support expanded training opportunities in the green economy, with the goal of ensuring the program effectively supports workers transitioning to sustainable, future-oriented jobs.

Corrections and Conditional Release Act, S.C. 1992, c.20 Our interest is in ensuring that this legislation facilitates access to prevention information tools and services on the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), hepatitis C virus (HCV) and facilitates access to adequate care, treatment and support for prisoners with HIV or HCV. Case for increasing funding to the Federal Initiative to Address HIV/AIDS in Canada, and community concerns about the roll-out of the Community Action Fund under said Federal Initiative.
