Encourage the creation of regulations, policies and funding programs to support the development of carbon dioxide removal (CDR) in Canada, by supporting the development of low-carbon technologies that produce magnesium and calcium oxides from mineral waste, which are critical feedstock for scalable, durable, and verifiable carbon storage in applications like surface mineralization, Ocean Alkalinity Enhancement (OAE), and Enhanced Rock Weathering (ERW).
