Support the development of the "Made-in-Canada Investment guidelines" with a green and transition taxonomy for buildings as announced by the federal government. Support the greening government strategy and the operations to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the federal buildings portfolio. Support the implementation of Buy Clean principles in federal procurements that will require to reduce embodied carbon. Support the integration of carbon emissions (operational and embodied) in National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings and National Building Code of Canada.

Engage on Canada’s ongoing implementation of Excessive Interest and Financing Expenses Limitation (EIFEL) rules under the Income Tax Act. Engage on issues related to procurement and procurement reforms – including the establishment of a Major Federal Project Office – and the need for consistency and centralized federal leadership in procurement. Engage on issues related to infrastructure investment and the need to focus on lifecycle models in federal infrastructure programs.

To work with government to make NARCAN® (Naloxone HCI) Nasal Spray more widely available across Canada to facilitate immediate treatment to individuals suffering from opioid overdose. Seek funding support from the Strategic Innovation Fund to expand Emergent's Winnipeg facility. Eligibility for Scientific Research and Experimental Development tax incentives.
