TIU Canada is requesting the Canadian Government to support investing in our C$26mm project in Ukraine, as a 50% debt partner (net ask of the Government of Canada C$8mm) in our 26MW SPP project in collaboration with US Government Development Finance Corporation (DFC). TIU Canada has applied to NRCAN's SREP (Smart Renewables and Electrification Pathways Program (SREPs) program. The NRCAN program is being led by the Electricity Program Branch. The funding will be used to build a photovoltaic solar utility-scale project near Gleichen, Alberta. If successful, TIU Canada will also be working with the Siksika First Nation on the project in question.
