Seeking support through funding programs like the Strategic Response Fund (SRF). Seeking line of sight to potential grant funding mechanisms that can, if necessary, support the capital stack of Varme's Heartland Project to unlock private capital investment into the project. Encouraging the Government of Canada to enable Internationally Transferred Mitigation Outcomes (ITMO) as a legal tool under the Paris Agreement for domestic carbon project developers to access global markets. Advocating for the inclusion of geologically stored Carbon Dioxide Removals (CDR) to be included within the Clean Fuel Regulation credit market.
