Federal Advocacy for Social Sector Capacity Building. Lobbying activities will take place regarding amendments to the Income Tax Act, on two fronts: the creation of a new self-financing social sector fund and agency to strengthen Canada's charitable sector, and increasing the mandatory disbursement quota for grant-making foundations ahead of the government's 2026 review.
