Ice River is a stakeholder in the food and beverage manufacturing industry seeking to engage with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada regarding the Temporary Foreign Worker Program and its applicable National Occupational Classification codes, with the goal of advocating for the inclusion of certain classifications that are critical to the industry's workforce needs.

Federal Advocacy for Social Sector Capacity Building. Lobbying activities will take place regarding amendments to the Income Tax Act, on two fronts: the creation of a new self-financing social sector fund and agency to strengthen Canada's charitable sector, and increasing the mandatory disbursement quota for grant-making foundations ahead of the government's 2026 review.

Clean energy and hydrogen policy frameworks and related federal innovation, industrial, and funding programs, with respect to eligibility criteria, definitions, standards, and policy directions affecting advanced propulsion technologies, hydrogen applications, advanced manufacturing, and defence-adjacent innovation, including engagement related to federal programs, pilot projects, and partnership initiatives supporting clean technology development and commercialization.
