Setting up meetings in regards to marine pilots role in the Canadian economy and to act as a resource regarding regulations that directly impact marine pilots and pilotage in Canada, specifically the Pilotage Act.

Movember advocates for federal policies and investments that improve men’s health outcomes across Canada. It lobbies for the creation and funding of a National Men’s Health Strategy, focusing on mental health, suicide prevention, and early detection of cancers that disproportionately affect men. Movember’s efforts include advancing Indigenous-led health initiatives, addressing systemic health inequities, and improving men’s health literacy.

ParticipACTION will be discussing the importance and promotion of increasing sport and physical activity and reducing sedentary behaviour in Canada. ParticipACTION seeks to identify partnership opportunities with the federal government and seeks financial support related to national initiatives benefiting the health and wellness of Canadians.
