DEVELOPMENT PERMITS - The Development Permit system is an area-based planning method that is an alternative approach to site-specific rezoning approvals process. The City of Toronto is considering developing such an approach through City Planning.

The Ontario Municipal Board/ Local Appeal Bodies for the City of Toronto. City Council is currently debating the merits to "eliminating the Ontario Municipal Board" for the City of Toronto and creating Local Appeal Bodies to hear appeals on applications

Service Delivery as related to application processing, approvals and permit issuance during COVID-19 disruption

Construction Staging Areas - Through transportation services and the planning department, the City is now looking to obtain construction stagin plans at the zoning by-law stage of the development approvals process.

Committee of Adjustment - BILD Renovator members will be advocating for changes to the CofA - specifically requesting a separate stream to address their minor variance applications.

INCLUSIONARY ZONING - Staff are proposing a policy on Inclusionary Zoning as a way to build more affordable units which will be addressed by PHC throughout the year and Council by the end of the year.

Transportation services governs parking permissions on roads, and BILD renovator members are encountering situations where they are seeking parking allowances for their trades vehicles where driveways for homes do not exist.
