Simpcw is seeking to improve services provided to individuals that fall within the administrative purview of Indigenous Services Canada's "Services to Individuals Sector", including services related to membership and Indian status registration Simpcw First Nation is seeking to improve rail and transportation safety in its traditional territory Simpcw is working to defend its interests and its inherent and constitutionally protected rights to its lands, waters, and traditional territory in relation to major natural resource projects under active consideration in its region and requiring federal regulatory and other decisions Simpcw is endeavouring to assert and affirm its inherent and constitutionally protected Rights over the delivery of Child & Family Services. This includes funding made available through Indigenous Services Canada's First Nation Child & Family Services Program (FNCFS) as well as through a Fiscal Agreement signed in conjunction with a Coordination Agreement pursuant to An Act Respecting First Nation, Inuit, and Metis Children, Youth and Families
