Advocate for push and pull incentives to stimulate innovation in antimicrobials R&D and access, and incentives to encourage innovation in antimicrobial stewardship and antimicrobial alternatives. Promote a one-health approach to countering antimicrobial resistance. Address the growing public health threat of antimicrobial resistance through policy to encourage research, innovation and adoption of novel therapeutics, diagnostics, vaccines and other alternative technologies; and policy to promote innovation in antimicrobial stewardship, surveillance and infection prevention and control.
