Discussions with government officials about the inclusion of biomass in energy and forestry strategies, policies and programs as a motor of regional economic development, support to the forestry industry and energy transition ; as well as participation in relevant public consultations (on energy, forestry, economic development, etc), including pre-budget consultations. Discussion with government officials about existing sources of funding for a torrefied pellets (biocoal) project.

Arranging meetings to advocate for research and infrastructure support and to increase awareness of the client's research capabilities. Seeking funding for new learning centres on Fredericton and Saint John campuses, research and engagement, and arranging meetings for the President of the University of New Brunswick.
