Engage the federal government on the need to extend the funding timeline for the Deep Retrofit Accelerator Initiative to maximize the uptake and climate impact of large building retrofit investments. Meet with federal public office holders to provide information and advice on energy efficiency programs, grants, and related regulatory frameworks. Discuss the development and implementation of federal policies, incentives, and best practices to advance energy efficiency objectives Seek support for a GTHA (Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area) Retrofit Delivery Centre, from the Community Climate Action Fund and/or other sources. Engage the federal government on the need for support for retrofit market development across Canada to maximize the uptake and climate impact of planned large building retrofit investments.
