Industry, International Trade, Economic Development: Allen Vanguard has concerns with the length of time it takes to obtain approvals for export permits under the Controlled Goods Act. They wish to see a more expedited process that would support industrry, sustain international trade and contribute to economic development. Economic Development, International Trade, Industry, Research and Development, Science and Technology - Allen Vanguard wishes to identify funding that might support their research and development efforts, create more jobs, support their export promotion efforts, and contribute to the expansion of scientific and technological knowledge and the Defence Industrial Base. Defence - Allan Vanguard is interested in procurement opportunities with the Department of National Defence and other security agencies within the Government of Canada. This may involve the company competing on its own or as subcontractor to a prime.
