Seeking a coordinated national strategy/secretariat to address the far reaching implications of the Internet of Things (IoT) and engage ITAC (Information Technology Association of Canada) in a pan-Canadian discourse. Improving the talent pool and skills of the technology sector. Seeking contributions for ITAC (Information Technology Association of Canada) Talent programs, such as: the experiential learning falls under the Government’s Student Work Integrated Learning (SWILP) program (our program under this is called Tech Partnership Canada) and the Business Technology Management (BTM) falls under the Sectoral Initiatives Program (that program is called BTM Accreditation). Helping Government develop a pan-Canadian certification and licensing mechanism to ensure the safety, security, and privacy of digital health solutions. Encouraging Government to work with the provinces and territories to develop a pan-Canadian strategy for digital health. Encouraging Government to continue with existing policies and programs that help Canadian information and communications technology (ICT) companies scale by accessing to global markets.

To work with relevant elected officiations and department in regards to the passed C-26, An Act respecting cyber security, amending the Telecommunications Act and making consequential amendments to other Acts, C-34, An Act to enact the Digital Safety Act and the Digital Safety Commission of Canada Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts, and C-36, An Act to enact the Protecting Privacy and Consumer Data Act, to amend the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and potential regulatory impacts if the Bills are passed To work with relevant elected officials and departments in regard to C-34, An Act to enact the Digital Safety Act and the Digital Safety Commission of Canada Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts and potential regulations that might occur, if passed.
