Support the establishment of a seaside sanctuary for cold water cetaceans in a bay off the coast of Port Hilford, Nova Scotia and support the rescue and transfer of cetaceans retired from the entertainment industry to this or other seaside sanctuaries. World Animal Protection would like to see the Government of Canada acknowledge and act on the importance of animal welfare to addressing the biggest challenges of our time including pandemic risk, antimicrobial resistance, climate change and biodiversity loss.
