To engage and advocate for the economic and social benefits of mining to the Canadian economy, including Indigenous economic reconciliation, with investment-friendly policies regarding regulatory system, support for decarbonization, skills training and critical mineral development. To raise awareness with government officials with respect to the Company's development plans for new mining projects in Nunavut, including employment and training, opportunities and benefits for Inuit people and communities, the Company’s consultation and environmental management programs, and additional environmental sustainability opportunities in line with government and Inuit priorities and policies. To raise awareness with government officials with respect to the Company's development plans for mining projects in Ontario and Quebec, including employment and training, opportunities and benefits for Indigenous peoples and local communities, and the Company’s consultation and environmental management programs. To raise awareness with government officials and departments on the need for major infrastructure investment in the Arctic, including high speed internet infrastructure in Nunavut to support industry and community needs and enhance opportunities and economic linkages. To engage and raise awareness with government officials and departments on the need for clean energy infrastructure development in the Kivalliq and Kitikmeot regions of Nunavut. Energy alternatives will significantly reduce the need to rely 100% on diesel generation as the only source of energy in these areas, significantly reducing GHG emissions and improving economic development opportunity for communities and industry.

Opportunities for the Canadian Light Utility Vehicle (LUV) procurement using Canadian made steel to support domestic jobs and manufacturing. New opportunities for Canadian defence procurements and other buy Canadian opportunities such as infrastructure and transportation. Potential new policies, regulations, or international agreements impacting Canada’s international trade framework, with implications for the steel industry. Federal government priorities and policies related to the international trade of steel and improve the competitiveness of the domestic steel industry. Support measures for steel industry and workers based on domestic economic conditions, increased tariffs, and ongoing global trade issues.

To discuss international project financing opportunities in engineering, construction management, large project delivery and financing, infrastructure and energy. Engagement with the federal government on the Defence Industrial Strategy, defence-related infrastructure projects and other government priorities related to defence and security, such as the development of a domestic defence industrial base, developing sovereign defence capabilities and defending the Arctic.

To advocate to the Government to approve new, fast and effective ways to build urgently needed defence related infrastructure that supports the needs of CAF, DND and Canada's broader national security, with a specific emphasis on flexible, scalable, and rapidly deployable infrastructure projects on military installations that can also include the use of public-private partnership models.
