Our efforts on behalf of Armatec involve the company's pursuit of opportunities with the Department of National Defence's support to Ukraine, the DRDC "Armour Up" program as well as the armour requirements for the Canadian Surface Combatant and other international opportunities working with and through the Trade and Export Controls Branch of Global Affairs.

Communicating with the Government of Canada about Bill C-22 (An Act respecting lawful access) Communicating with the Government of Canada about Bill formerly known as C-27 (Digital Charter Implementation Act, 2022), more specifically the creation of the Artificial Intelligence and Data Act. Communicating with the Government of Canada about Bill C-2 (An Act respecting certain measures relating to the security of the border between Canada and the United States and respecting other related security measures). Work with government to promote and support Canada’s digital economy, including ensuring the availability of a high-skilled tech workforce. Seeking to influence policy direction related to cloud based services. Seeking government contract with multiple government departments and institutions with regards to Amazon Cloud based solutions and related support services.

The legislative review of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and potential development of regulations and/or guidelines in that respect. Seeking procurement opportunities pertaining to land-based systems including light utility vehicles, logistic vehicles and ancillaries including supporting infrastructure, and other requirements of the Canadian Armed Forces Recommendations on the development and implementation of the Clean Fuel Standard related to credit generation and associated regulatory requirements. Provide input to government on COVID border measures to facilitate business essential travel Obtain contributions from Strategic Innovation Fund for investment in Canadian facilities/initiatives.
