Movember advocates for federal policies and investments that improve men’s health outcomes across Canada. It lobbies for the creation and funding of a National Men’s Health Strategy, focusing on mental health, suicide prevention, and early detection of conditions that disproportionately affect men. Movember’s efforts include advancing Indigenous-led health initiatives, addressing systemic health inequities, and improving men’s health literacy. Movember strives to support systems supporting healthier outcomes for men and boys, in healthcare spaces, online and digital spaces, in workplaces and in communities.

We plan on engaging the government to provide more pathways to safety for LGBTQI+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Intersex, plus) persons/refugees. We plan on engaging government to provide a policy for internally displaced LGBTQI+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Intersex, plus) persons to be refugees to Canada.

Investments in Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care, rollout of childcare agreements across Canada. Women's Housing and Homelessness, ensuring a gender equity lens in federal housing policy and affordable housing investments, and the renewal of funding for housing dedicated to women. We are seeking investments in women's labour market participation, including investments in re-skilling programs that are gender-responsive. Advancing policies, programs and investments in gender-based violence prevention and intervention, including the National Action Plan to End Gender-Based Violence. Federal budget with respect to investments in the social service sector for funding the supports the mental health of frontline community service workers. Addressing online hate and technology-facilitated violence through online safety legislation, policies or regulations.
