The client is a labour union whose members are actively working on significant major projects across Canada and want to continue to work on the strategically important public projects in Canada. CLAC wants to ensure that there are safe conditions for working on those projects that support the recruitment and advancement of workers while keeping projects open to all qualified workers in Canada.

They will advocate for policies and criteria to help support the delivery and construction of public projects in ways that will ensure good jobs and fair participation of all workers in Canada. CLAC helps to support all parts of the apprenticeship journey and is interested in programs and funding that can help to support training, recruitment and retention of apprentices and workers in the skilled trades.
