Technology development funding for next generation heavy-duty engines and vehicles. Seeking development of domestic and international programs that would encourage the adoption of alternative fuel vehicles - specifically vehicles that use natural gas, renewable natural gas and/or hydrogen as a primary fuel. Policies and programs relating to vehicle emissions and greenhouse gas standards for heavy-duty and light duty vehicles (commercial trucks, buses and light duty trucks) that would encourage the adoption of alternative fuel vehicles - specifically vehicles that use natural gas and/or hydrogen as a primary fuel. Input on proposed Clean Fuels Standard and carbon intensity values of natural gas and renewable natural gas Determining feasibility of exemptions for Euro VI certified heavy-duty trucks Clean Fuels Standard, Heavy-Duty Vehicle Emissions Regulations

"Hydrogen Related Incentives" On behalf of the client, I will be advocating to various departments and agencies to promote hydrogen production and carbon capture and storage (CCS) in Alberta. In addition, I will be pursing various department and agencies to adopt hydrogen and CCS incentives.

Engaging the government of Canada in conversations about integrating hydrogen into Canada’s trade diversification agenda, including exploring opportunities in emerging markets and supporting infrastructure that enables domestic and international hydrogen adoption. Engage the government of Canada in conversations regarding the development and implementation of the Clean Hydrogen Tax Credit Communicating with government regarding the adoption of hydrogen and hydrogen fuel technologies, carbon pricing, and policies encouraging reduction in CO2 emissions.

To discuss the implications of potential tariffs on the energy system in Canada. Outreach to public office holders on issues surrounding the Pan-Canadian Framework on Clean Growth and Climate Change. Outreach to public office holders on issues surrounding the development of natural gas infrastructure and business initiatives in Nova Scotia.
